Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
If you cannot see two Erasures then I suppose the next best thing is one (or a half, pedantically speaking). For this was Andy Bell out and about promoting his newest solo album Ten Crowns. We got eight crowns from the collection this evening - all perfectly crafted, infectious toe tappers.
But it was the Erasure hits most of us 20-somethings, 30-somethings, 40-somethings, 50-somethings, 60-somethings and 70-somethings came to hear.
And Andy did not disappoint, presenting us with hit after hit after hit. Reminding us all, if any of us needed reminding, just what a marvellous song writing team Andy and Vince make.
He even finding space to squeeze in an ELO cover Xanadu, which did not sound remotely out of place.
A consummate performer.
